Irving Celebrates Wild Card Win Wednesday, September 20th, 2034 Juan Jimínez of the Irving Blue Sox said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in USSL Double A. The grind is now over, as the Blue Sox have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the left fielder. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager Bill Clark said he believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
