Rodríguez Wins SAA Best Player Award Monday, September 18th, 2034 So far in his young career, Carlos Rodríguez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Phoenix Hotspur Youth first baseman hit at a torrid .550 clip as he collected 11 hits in 20 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Rodríguez is swinging at a .283 pace on the year with 22 home runs, 76 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has played in 101 games. |
