Altamiraņo Earns SAA Player of the Week Monday, August 21st, 2034 So far in his young career, Domingo Altamiraņo has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Lancaster Farmers second baseman hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Altamiraņo is swinging the bat at a .315 rate with 102 hits in 324 at-bats. To date he has hit 11 home runs, scored 56 runs and driven in 50. |
