Reyes Chosen 2034 3AA Outstanding Hitter Award Saturday, October 7th, 2034 At the age of 21, Augusto Reyes of the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks could very well have his best years ahead of him. It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2034 was good enough to win the right fielder the M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach." The top hitter put up a .333 batting average this year, as well as a .414 on-base percentage. He played 102 games and racked up 143 hits, 27 doubles, no triples, 26 home runs, 76 RBIs and 90 runs scored. Yu Miao of the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks finished second in voting, while Jaime Aguilar of the Virginia Beach Deuces finished third. |
