McManus Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, August 8th, 2034 Stephen McManus extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Virginia Beach 7-6 triumph over the Belvedere Park Rawhides. The 28-year-old Deuces second baseman collected 3 hits in 6 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Stephen McManus doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
