Compagne Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Friday, June 16th, 2034 Pure Michigan's Alco Compagne accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Compagne finished 4-for-5 with 4 runs batted in and 1 run scored and helped the Great Lakers knock off the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves 9-4 at Thunderbirds Stadium. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Compagne told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Alco Compagne hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Larry Souder in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
