He may have less experience than most of his USSL Triple A peers, but that didn't slow Sébastien Cornu down at all in 2034.

At the age of 22, the Vermont catcher has been named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.

He had a .330 batting average and a .393 on-base percentage this year. In 95 games he piled up 123 hits, 26 doubles, 2 triples, 37 home runs, 101 RBIs and 72 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

Dan Chrzan of the Tremont Doubledays finished second in voting, while Ricardo Téllez of the Vermont Lake Monsters finished third.
