Lake Monsters Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 20th, 2034 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Vermont Lake Monsters. Club manager Coy Knight said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Vermont last appeared in the postseason in 2025. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
