SAAA Honors Brinkley Right Fielder Monday, September 11th, 2034 So far in his young career, Weston Doyle has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Brinkley Belugas right fielder hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 6 hits in 11 at-bats, 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. In 54 games Doyle is hitting .272 this season with 56 hits, 10 home runs, 36 RBIs, 9 walks, .311 OBP and has scored 24 runs. |
