Feijoo Wins SAAA Best Player Award Monday, August 28th, 2034 24-year-old Cisco Feijoo made a few Brinkley headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 15 at-bats to put up a .533 average. Feijoo collected 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs. This year Feijoo has collected a .315 batting average to date with 81 hits in 257 at-bats, 37 RBIs, 3 home runs and scored 29 times. He has played in 63 games. |
