Compagne Nabs SAAA Weekly Award Monday, July 10th, 2034 Alco Compagne burst onto the USSL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie designated hitter for Pure Michigan garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 26-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .526 (10-for-19) with 1 home run and 5 RBIs last week. This season Compagne is swinging the bat at a .346 rate with 73 hits in 211 at-bats. To date he has hit 11 home runs, scored 26 runs and driven in 50. |
