Season Ends for Jorge Díaz of Florida Thursday, June 22nd, 2034 The season is ending on a bad note for Jorge Díaz, center fielder for the Florida Men. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Díaz was hurt against the Calgary Lynx while making a defensive play. He suffered a broken bone in the elbow and will be out for at least 4 months. Díaz is hitting .271 so far this season with 34 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 45 hits including 11 home runs, 13 walks and .335 OBP. |
