Santa Barbara's Torres PAAA Top Pitcher Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Luis Torres has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in September and stole away with the USPL Triple A Pitcher of the Month award. The Golden Cranes bullpen ace collected 4 saves and 10 strikeouts in 10.2 innings, holding the opposition to a .262 average and posting a 1.69 ERA and a 2-0 record. Torres has converted 18 saves in his career. Over 47 games he has compiled a 4.30 ERA, 10 wins, 6 losses and 78 strikeouts in 102.2 innings pitched. |
