Season Over for Wes Griffith in Jersey City Wednesday, September 6th, 2034 Wes Griffith has to call it a season. The Jersey City Tritons left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Griffith was injured while making a defensive play. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken kneecap and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months. This year Griffith has collected a .223 batting average to date with 33 hits in 148 at-bats, 16 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 17 times. He has played in 48 games. |
