Velázquez Garners PAAA Batter of the Month Award Friday, September 1st, 2034 Jorge Velázquez battered USPL Triple A pitchers all August and wound up taking home the Batter of the Month Award. "I've been around USPL Triple A long enough to know you really have to work hard day in and day out to be able to put up this kind of consistency," the 29-year-old Velázquez told reporters. "I put in a lot of work, even on the days I might not take the field, and it's always nice when everything comes together for me like it did this last month." In 15 games, Velázquez hit .473 with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 13 runs. Velázquez is hitting .403 in 2034 with 23 RBIs and 7 home runs. |
