Hollis and Pereira Brawl, League Suspends Them Friday, July 28th, 2034 After an intense confrontation, both the Longnecks Chet Hollis and the Fighting Dachsunds Felipe Pereira were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Bloomington-Ellenburg game. Both players will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Chet Hollis commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year Pereira has nailed down no saves. His won-lost record is 5-6 with a 5.68 ERA. |
