Hernández Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, July 11th, 2034 Bakersfield's Pedro Hernández accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Hernández finished 4-for-4 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored and helped the Nobles knock off the Jersey City Tritons 3-2 at Jerome Grounds. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Hernández told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Pedro Hernández doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Kenny Makris in the 9th.
