Scranton No Match for Ruíz Friday, June 30th, 2034 Baltimore Black Sox fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Bartolo Ruíz blanked the Scranton Supernovas, 2-0 at Constellation Ballpark today. Ruíz stopped them on 4 hits while walking 1 and striking out 5. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Black Sox skipper Josh Jackson said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Ruíz has made 7 starts, tossed 40 innings, struck out 24 batters and walked 13. His record is 1-6 with a 7.88 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .325 batting average.
