Alsobrook on Fire, Strikes out 15 Braves Friday, August 25th, 2034 Roy Alsobrook of the Tortolita Drummers put on a pitching clinic today at Drummers Ballpark as he struck out 15 Gryfindor Braves in a 14-3 victory. Alsobrook, who is tied for 4th in the 3AAA with a 8.5 K/9 rate, was simply magnificent as he held the Braves to 3 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Alsobrook said, "but eventually my knucklecurve really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Alsobrook's performance, Drummers manager Arturo Chávez shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." So far this year Alsobrook has made 14 starts, tossed 77.1 innings, struck out 73 batters and walked 20. His record is 8-2 with a 3.61 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .236 batting average.
