Reliever Vásquez Top 3AAA Pitcher in July Tuesday, August 1st, 2034 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask César Vásquez, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Tortolita Drummers reliever, 30, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .191 average and walked away with the M3L Triple A Pitcher of the Month award for July. Vásquez posted a 3-0 mark and a 2.67 ERA in 9 relief appearances. In 27 innings, he had 2 saves, 32 strikeouts, and 20 walks. So far this year Vásquez has nailed down 2 saves. His won-lost record is 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA. |
