3L Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Kanko Umaba's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Greenville right fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .329 with 2 doubles, no triples and 8 home runs. Umaba also scored 18 times and drove in 16 runs. A look at his season totals shows Umaba with 25 home runs, .303 BA, .389 OBP, 63 RBIs and 62 runs scored. |
