Pete Rhue Out for Season Tuesday, August 29th, 2034 A blow for Pete Rhue today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Rhue suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Kingston Township Knights are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Rhue's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Rhue has made 17 starts, tossed 114.1 innings, struck out 92 batters and walked 32. His record is 7-5 with a 4.01 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .270 batting average. |
