Mango, López Blank Torch Wednesday, August 23rd, 2034 Carlos López of the Provo Mango put on a dazzling performance at Torch Field today. He shut out the Mancelona Torch 6-0 on a well-pitched 5-hitter, ringing up 3 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks. "I felt strong out there all day," López said later. So far this year López has made 19 starts, tossed 138 innings, struck out 134 batters and walked 45. His record is 7-8 with a 3.20 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .222 batting average.
