Acevedo Selected Player of the Week Monday, August 14th, 2034 Fernando Acevedo is respected by most Washington Generals fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .478 average (11-for-23) with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Acevedo is batting .244 with 73 hits, no home runs, 26 RBIs, 46 walks, .343 OBP and has scored 42 runs. |
