Chicago Left Fielder Picked PA Player of the Week Monday, July 24th, 2034 Lorenzo Varela made quite a splash in the USPL Single A this past week. The Chicago Tula left fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 8 hits in 18 at-bats to roll up a .444 batting average and the USPL Single A Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 2 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Varela is currently batting .233 with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
