Season Over for Miguel Longoria in Niagara Falls

Miguel Longoria has to call it a season. The Niagara Falls Expos starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Yellowknife Dragonblood and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Longoria was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 16 months.
To this point in the season, Longoria shows a 1-0 record, 0 starts, 33.1 innings, 43 strikeouts and a 3.78 ERA.
