Woody Thomas Out for Season Wednesday, July 26th, 2034 A blow for Woody Thomas today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8 months with a torn labrum. Thomas suffered the injury making a defensive play. Although officials from the Athletic Club KC U-24 are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Thomas's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Thomas is hitting .215 this year with 2 home runs and 17 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .275, 21 walks and scored 38 times. |
