Kane Grabs 3A Outstanding Pitcher Award Saturday, September 23rd, 2034 When the call went out to the Grand Forks bullpen in 2034, George Kane proved equal to the task. Whether he was brought in to squelch a rally or just finish the game, Kane gave his best at each opportunity. As a result, today the Caterpillars reliever was named the latest M3L Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He made no relief appearances, logging 107.2 innings and no saves this season. He racked up 135 strikeouts, a 10-2 record and an ERA of 1.50. Kenny Beck of the Grand Forks Caterpillars finished second in voting, while Ramón Cerrillo of the Grim Reapers finished third. |
