Seahawks Hwang Gone for Year
Thursday, August 10th, 2034
The season is finished for Seung-jae Hwang of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Seahawks starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Alameda Airmen. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal.
This season Hwang has gone 1-1 with an ERA of 2.06, posting 45 strikeouts in 35 innings.
