Red-Hot Rey Scorches Bulls Thursday, July 27th, 2034 Seahawks catcher Miguel Rey had his way with Mt. Vernon pitching today at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Bulls ruined his great day by toppling the Seahawks, 3-2. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Mt. Vernon credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Rey did today," Bulls skipper Barry Embling said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Miguel Rey doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
