Nelson Selected 3A Player of the Week Monday, July 3rd, 2034 Cecil Nelson burst onto the M3L Single A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Alameda garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .625 (10-for-16) with no home runs and 4 RBIs last week. Nelson is batting at a .306 pace this season, picking up 55 hits in 180 at-bats with 8 home runs, 32 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
