Gold Ball Winner Announced Friday, October 27th, 2034 The Buckhead Bowties have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Ron Manning, this year's United States Premier League Gold Ball selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Manning compiled a 11-7 record in 24 starts, tallied 145 strikeouts in 161 innings and recorded a 2.91 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .212 batting average against him. Jorge Otero of the Portland Evergreens finished second in voting, while Tony Alfonso of the Chicago Gold Sox finished third. |
