Joseph Sensational for Rainbow Mermaids
|
Northern Virginia rode a good effort from starter Mimosa Joseph to beat the Las Vegas Flamingos at Atlantica. The final score was 2-0. Iván García earned the save for Northern Virginia, his 1st of the year. The Flamingos fall to 7-12 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
The Flamingos had trouble solving Joseph, who surrendered no earned runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.
"We'll savor this win," Joseph told the Northern Virginia Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
