Yu-shu Kang had a good game, but he could not keep the Boston Patriots from falling, 11-7, to the Buckhead Bowties at 5 Paces Park. The Boston center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 in the loss. Buckhead reliever Brian Fixel was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Armando Garay took the loss. Buckhead improves to 11-8 as they look to defend their championship.

Buckhead took a 10-7 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, second baseman Raúl Ruíz hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ruíz. "And not try to do too much."
