Almost There: Boston On Cusp of R2035 Triumph After 9-4 Win
|
Boston center fielder Francisco Agámez was the key at Dunkin Donuts Park today, being named player of the game as he powered the Patriots to victory in a critical Game of the Round 2035. The Patriots took the 9-4 win over the Portland Evergreens to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
The fans who came in support of the Patriots were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Dunkin Donuts Park.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Agámez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
The next game is scheduled for Monday at Evergreen Park. The scheduled starters for the game are Sam Mooney for the Boston Patriots and Gabriel Valenzuela for the the Portland Evergreens.
