The Boston Patriots moved to within one game of the Round 2036 today, downing the Las Vegas Flamingos on the road at The Strip by a score of 9-2. Patriots center fielder Francisco Agámez was named player of the game after he went 4-4 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win gives the Patriots a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2035.

Agámez delivered in the top of the second inning for Boston. With the game tied and a runner on 3rd, the center fielder hit a run-scoring single to left-center.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Agámez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 2 is set to be played tomorrow at The Strip. The scheduled starters for the game are Darby Marshall for Boston and Luis Peńa for Las Vegas.
