Round 2035 Game 1 Victory for Castro\n and Toledo
Facing elimination, the Toledo Stingers were looking for a savior. For today, at least, Enrique Castro delivered.

At Pacesetter Park, the 27-year old pitched a game for the ages to fend off the D.C. Divided and help the Stingers close their deficit in the Round 2035. Castro threw a 9-inning, complete-game shutout in the 5-0 Toledo win, striking out 8 and allowing 2 hits. The Stingers how trail - in the best-of- series.

In his 98-pitch effort, Castro allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 9 innings. He walked 0 and struck out 8.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Stingers manager Francis Bova said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."
