Road Win Lifts Royse City to 1-0 Lead in R1
The Royse City Targaryens started the SL AAA Championship in style today, winning on the road against the Plymouth Rocks at Plymouth Quarry by a score of 5-2 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Targaryens right-hander Shang-de Fu was named player of the game after he threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball.

The Targaryens picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I thought we played a nice game," Fu told the Royse City Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow in Plymouth. The scheduled starters for the game are Fred Proctor for Royse City and Will Kirby for Plymouth.
