With first baseman José Ocasio leading the charge, the Gibtown Elephants got a road win over the Amarillo Submarinos, 11-3, in Game 4 of the 3L R Championship today. Ocasio went 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times at Terriers Ballpark to help Gibtown force a 2-2 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Gibtown relied on the bat of Francis Raffone to get the win. The shortstop ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Elephants ahead, 11-3. For the game, Raffone had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We maximized our offense today," said Gibtown skipper Augusto González. "That makes everyone's life easier."

Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday at Wrigley Field in Gibsonton. Slated to start are Jesús Bruno for Amarillo and Said Akimi for Gibtown.
