Koo, Octopi Take Dramatic Game 5 for 3-2 Series Lead
The Ogallala Octopi needed some late heroics to do it, but ultimately emerged one game away from the Round 2 today. The Octopi needed 10 innings before taking the 7-6 win against the San Diego Clippers in a walk-off at Nebraska Aquarium. Ogallala catcher Kao-tsu Koo was named player of the game after he was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win gives the Octopi a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-5 PL R Championchip.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Ogallala trailing 6-5, Sehinsah Al-Fanari hit a forkball from Kane Duckering to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Octopi had a walk-off win.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Ogallala manager Bernie Drake.
