Raucous Mean Green Ballpark Crowd Propels Clippers to 9-4 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The San Diego Clippers and the Ogallala Octopi will take the PL R Championchip to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Clippers beat the Octopi 9-4 at Mean Green Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. San Diego right-hander César Sandoval was named player of the game in the win after he threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs.

Luis López contributed to the San Diego win with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 run batted in.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," López said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The next game is scheduled for Friday, September 15th, 2034. Slated to start are Justin Clapham for the San Diego Clippers and Manny Crespo for the the Ogallala Octopi.
