Red-Hot Yun Scorches Warheads
|
Elephants second baseman Min-ho Yun had his way with Amarillo pitching today at Wrigley Field and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Warheads ruined his great day by toppling the Elephants, 9-6.
"I had a great day, but you've got to give Amarillo credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."
"Oh, we noticed what Yun did today," Warheads skipper Javier Trujillo said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."
Min-ho Yun hit a solo-shot off Jhon Aimar in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
Yun is hitting .583 so far this season with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. He has 7 hits including 1 home run, no walks and .615 OBP.
