Capital Hill and Surprise duked it out at Alouettes Ballpark and the Interns came out victorious.

Capital Hill second baseman Michael Ruscoe was instrumental in his team's 10-8 win over the Surprise Shockers. Ruscoe, who leads the PR in triples with 7, went 4-5 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Interns. The 4th-place Interns now have a 4-game winning streak.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Surprise hurler Vítor Paiva, Penekiko Nioka hit a double. The Interns went on to win.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Ruscoe, "but we got it done."
