Gaberiela Tatafu never let the Otters get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his forkball, to pitch the Cougars to a 1-0 win. Ronald Hall notched his 4th save in 5 chances. Valley View has now won 3 straight, while the Otters have lost 3 in a row.

The Cougars got a big at-bat from left fielder Guan-pei Bei. For the game, Bei went 1-4. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 83rd hit of the season gave Valley View a 1-0 lead.
