Late Rally by Snowpeople Secures Win
Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Dave Shepard was in fine form against the Valley View Cougars at Corpus Christi Grounds, leading his team to a 7-1 win. Ellesmere Island occupies 9th place in the Premier R at 36-47.

The Snowpeople got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tristan Eikelenboom. For the game, Eikelenboom went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 24th double of the season gave Ellesmere Island a 3-1 lead.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Shepard told the Ellesmere Island Bulletin.
