Centennial Roll to 8-2 Win Over Interns

It was a good time at Ballpark of Baxter, where fans came to watch the Capital Hill Interns and Fort Knox Centennial get after it.
The exploits of third baseman Nicholas Cusack helped the Fort Knox Centennial defeat the Capital Hill Interns, 8-2. Cusack went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Capital Hill, at 37-36, has lost 4 straight.
The Centennial beat the Interns with some clutch hitting. The single by Roland Reece in the bottom of the fourth is a good example. With two down, Reece gave his team the lead, 2-1, when he came through with the big hit.
"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Ezequiel Chosson.
