Ogallala rode a good effort from starter Peter Lydell to beat the Capital Hill Interns at Alouettes Ballpark. The final score was 5-1. The winning pitcher was Lydell, now 5-3. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. The Octopi have an impressive 44-27 record.
Anthon Oort helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run triple to give Ogallala a 2-0 lead.
