Fans at Field of the Sunchasers were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Ballard Beavers take on the Santa Fe Revolvers.

Ballard right-hander Bert Hollingsworth made an effective start against the Santa Fe Revolvers at Field of the Sunchasers, leading his team to a 6-3 win. Getting the save was Donzel Folena, his 2nd.

Ballard took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Clint Caldwell hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Beavers.

"This team is real focused right now," said Ballard manager Terry Stokes.

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Beavers.
