Steele Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Amarillo in Walk-Off Win
Amarillo first baseman Fernando Guillén made his presence felt in the 7-6 Warheads triumph over the Gibtown Elephants. Guillén was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Amarillo has now won 3 straight, while the Elephants have lost 3 in a row.

The Warheads were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when third baseman John Steele turned a full count sinker from Jonathan Lentz into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Amarillo a thrilling 7-6 win.
