|
The Amarillo Warheads defeated the Canonniers de Quebec, 6-4. Earning player of the game honors was catcher Takechi Yamashita, who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Adrian Robertson got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Canonniers de Quebec to 2 earned runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Curt Moore nailed down his 3rd save.
Yamashita had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Warheads went on to win.
